Allan Adler, President and CEO

Since graduating from Auburn University in 1976, Allan Adler has well over 30 years of experience in credit, financial managing, and collections, including almost 20 years as President, CEO, and Founder of AWA Collections. Prior to founding AWA, Allan was the Founder and Owner of CMS Collections, a collection letter service which operated for three years. Under Allan’s leadership, AWA Collections has continued to grow and thrive.  Prior to creating his own companies, Allan held management positions at First Federal of Seminole Savings and Loan, Burdines Department Stores, JW Robinson’s, and Experian.


Marian Mapes, VP of Operations

Marian has been involved in Credit and Collections since 1979. Prior to joining AWA in 2004, she was a Regional Manager with Citibank in their private label credit centers. She later held the position of Divisional Vice President – Credit, with Robinson’s, and then May Department Stores. Most recently, she was the senior credit executive for a private telecommunications global carrier. As the head of all operations functions, Marian is responsible for a wide range of duties including collection operations, human resources, legal compliance, facilities management, state licensing and IT. Ms. Mapes holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.


Harley Marchbank, Director of Business Development

Before coming to AWA, Harley was involved with many industries, including Food and Beverage, Hospitality, Customer Service, and Sales, all leading him to the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industry. During ten years with a nationally-based collections agency, Harley provided oversight for many Fortune 1000 clients as the Senior Account Manager.  For the past five years, Harley has continued his success at AWA, growing AWA’s client base in diverse industries. Harley is proud to be with a company of unyielding standards and integrity.


Mike Dalessio, Director of Collections

Mike Dalessio began his credit and collections career with Xerox Corporation where he managed Credit, Collections, Billing and Customer Service teams in their Southern California Western Regional headquarters. Mike also managed collection teams for AirTouch Cellular (now Verizon Wireless). He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University and also holds an active California real estate license.


Wendy Downey, IT / Data and Systems Administrator

Ms. Downey has 22 years of experience in the collections industry. She started out as a collections supervisor and then moved into areas of data transmissions and collection software management. Wendy now trains all new employees to use CR Software, a collections-specific database program. She is responsible for maintaining data security and compliance according to industry standards. All data file transfers are handled through her department and she is a key contributor to the company network running efficiently.


Trish Hart, Director of Call Center Operations

Ms. Hart has over 17 years of experience in the Collections industry. She has an extensive working knowledge of automated dialer systems and their effective use in high volume call centers. Trish specializes in designing and implementing client-specific recovery strategies across a wide industry spectrum. One of her concentrations is developing early intervention campaigns that resolve delinquency issues in a timely manner. These customized programs minimize accounts moving to a severe aging status while preserving customer-client relationships.;


Corinne Willingham, Director of Client Services

Ms. Willingham brings 25 plus years of Customer Service and Business Accounting experience to AWA.   Through her experience in retail management, and the administration of a hosiery manufacturing company, she has developed exceptional customer service skills.  Entering the collections field in 2007as a client services administrative assistant for CBNA, she assumed the role of Director of Client Services in 2009 and joined AWA's team in 2010. Corinne, along with her staff, offer personalized customer service by being available to answer questions, overseeing data entry and providing necessary reports, files and information to clients.  


Stephanie Adams, Client Services Account Representative

Ms. Adams has 13 years experience in providing excellent customer service to our clients.  Her organizational skills and working knowledge of today's computer technologies and software are an asset to AWA.  Stephanie also is a valued member of the Sales and Marketing Team.
